I've spent twenty-five years as a global meeting planner and association executive: managing conferences across multiple continents, co-founding conferences in two different sectors, helping form an oncology association, and serving as executive director. Along the way, I learned that the difference between a good event and a great one is almost always in the details nobody sees: the timing, the quiet problem-solving that happens before anyone in the room notices there was a problem.
